THE FREQUINOX MUSIC FESTIVAL

A benefit for the Crescent City in San Francisco - Oct. 15th

The Festival will kick off in McClaren Park's newly anointed 'Jerry Garcia Amphitheatre'. With the Mayor's office giving us support, we plan to donate a portion of the proceeds from food and beer sales, event posters and t-shirts and all crowd donations. With an expected crowd of 2000 people, this will be the largest benefit that San Francisco will be holding for victims of Hurricane Katrina. This Free festival will showcase some of the most outstanding musicians on the scene:

RUSSELL BATISTE & The Orkestra From 'Da Hood: featuring members of Funky Meters (from New Orleans)
FULLY LOADED: an all star band featuring members of The Greyboy All-Stars, the Black-eyed Peas and The 20th Congress.
BUCHO: one of the rising stars of the Northern California music scene with one of the most promising record releases of 2005.
MONOPHONICS: funk driven horn band from Marin.
